Production information
The light sport aircraft (AeroJones CTLS, hereinafter referred to as AJCT) is made by AeroJones Aviation and is equipped with a composite fuselage, advanced digital instrument system, international satellite emergency transmitting system, standard rescue parachutes, and two carbon-fiber seats. AJCT was awarded an airworthiness certificate for ultralight aircraft issued by Germany in 1997. In April 2005, it obtained the FAA special aircraft airworthiness certificate for sport aircraft as one of the first manufacturers to obtain the airworthiness certificate. Furthermore, CT aircraft has such features as low cost, easy maintenance, and high safety with ISO9001 quality certification and production certification issued by the Light Aircraft Manufacturers Association (LAMA). CTLS has long had the best sales volume in the global sports aircraft market. In 2010, CTLS achieved the feat of flying 44,000 km around the world and set a stunning record of continuously flying 1800 km with 120 liters of gasoline in 2011, demonstrating its excellent performance and flexibility and completely overturning the Taiwanese people’s impressions of light aircraft. The unsurpassed performance of CTLS puts it in the position of No. 1 Sports Aircraft in the world.
The fuselage is designed as Carbon fiber sandwich construction using Aramide as inner laminate in the cockpit area. The main bulkhead is designed as Carbon / Aramide sandwich. The undercarriage is attached directly to the main bulkhead. There is a box section stiffener made of CFRP which reinforces the door and the window cut-outs. There is a CFRP tunnel in the cockpit floor, which contains the control rods. The tunnel begins from the engine bulkhead and ends behind the main fuselage bulkhead.

Adjustable Three-bladed Propeller
Neuform three-blade composite propeller, adjustable on the ground.
Emergency Location Transmitting System ELT
Every CTLS features the most advanced Emergency Location Transmitting System ELT 460MHz of Cospas-Sarsat.
Whole Aircraft Rescue Parachute System BRS
In case of emergency, the pilot can activate the parachute system by pressing a single BRS button. Once the parachute is opened, the descending speed reduces to the minimum (about 518 meters per minute). The force generated by the impact on the ground is equivalent to that caused by falling from a height of four meters; as a result, the aircraft structure and cabin can be buffered to provide maximum protection to the crew.
Most Advanced Aircraft Instrument
The dual-screen interface Dynon Skyview SV-D1000 has been adopted to integrate traditional mechanical instruments and is equipped with Garmin GPS (Aera 795/796XM), radio Garmin GTR225, and the ELT 406 MHz emergency location transmitting system. All data and parameters of the aircraft’s instruments are integrated on the high-tech LCD screen, allowing the pilot to quickly comprehend all flight status factors.
